Academic Support Services

Supporting students as young as age three and through college

We want to help you and your family move through the school year as seamlessly as possible. It is important to us that your child is able to navigate through school using knowledge as their foundation, skills as tools for forward motion, and confidence as motivation to successfully continue on their path.

Mathematics 📏

Whether your child needs repetition, conceptualization, computational skills, or to understand word problems, we want to help! Specialized programs are designed to support student growth & understanding with their current schoolwork.

Life & Technology Skills ⌨️

With a heavy emphasis on academics, sometimes other core skills are overlooked. We help students learn any skill that you would like built upon whether it is typing, navigating technology, researching, organization, email and etiquette skills, etc. You tell us the skills you would like your child to acquire, and we take care of the rest.

Reading 📚

Decoding, reading comprehension, visualization, vocabulary, and fluency are key skills necessary for reading success. We isolate and practice specific skills that will enhance your child’s reading abilities.

Learning Disabilities 🧩

Not everyone learns the same way. We work with students with different learning disabilities by tailoring each skill and the method taught to the individual. We move at their pace, instilling confidence and support wherever it’s needed.

Writing ✍🏼

Strong writing skills build on a foundation of grammar, spelling, vocabulary, structure, and organization. We will help your child strengthen their writing skills by isolating and practicing the skill(s) that may be lacking.

Homework Support 📝

We help students with homework questions across multiple subjects including math, science, Spanish, history, reading, and writing. Homework support can have a positive impact, highly influencing academic success during and after grade school. This allows students the time to ask questions from class and practice their skills with additional support, ensuring the skill is being practiced correctly and retained for future assessments.

English Language Learners 🌐

We build relationships with our students to help them read, write, and speak English. We value the relationship as it helps each student not only understand the depths of the English language, but also the culture.

Time & Task Management 🕒

Some students feel overwhelmed when multiple assignments are given at once. Sometimes, one big assignment is overwhelming enough. We understand how they feel. We take the time to talk about their responsibilities and time management to create a plan, providing each student with the tools to navigate and problem solve effectively.
